As CEO of ClinCapture, I see firsthand the struggles clinical researchers and data managers endure in collecting, managing, and analyzing their data. From outdated paper forms to products that simply lack the full capabilities necessary for remote trials, ClinCapture is addressing the challenges researchers must overcome as trials continue to decentralize.

Beginning in March 2020, we offered our software at no cost for those running COVID-19 studies and as trials began to decentralize due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I noticed this is where the pain was starting to be felt the most. Now, we are taking the next step with a new technology that allows you to run your studies remotely and efficiently.

Letter from the CEO: Virtual Data Capture®

With this in mind, we developed Virtual Data Capture®, also known as VDC®. VDC® works with ClinCapture ’s powerful Captivate® platform to enable electronic Patient Reported Outcomes (ePRO), electronic Consent (eConsent), and electronic Clinical Outcomes Assessment (eCOA), all utilizing electronic Source records (eSource) technology. Virtual Data Capture® accelerates the researcher’s ability to plan, execute, and manage decentralized and remote trials.

We remain committed to Accelerating Clinical Trials® and to you, our customers, who are working behind the scenes to bring life-saving treatments to the public. We believe our technology can expedite remote trials and have a direct impact on the speed of making those new treatments available. I sincerely hope you can use VDC® technology in your next clinical trial.
